1. Who We Are

Rankitt is operated by RCBS Limited (trading as RCB Design & Build | A2Z Principal Contractors) ("RCBS", "we", "us"), a company registered in England & Wales. RCBS Limited is the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR. This platform is operated for internal use and licensed to UK construction businesses.

2. What Data We Collect

• Account information (name, email address, role)
• Business information provided during onboarding
• Lead, client, project, and invoice data you enter into the platform
• Usage data (pages visited, features used) for platform improvement
• Payment information, processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card details

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the Rankitt platform
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, team invites)
• To improve platform features and fix bugs
• We do not sell your data to third parties

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a private, encrypted database hosted by Supabase (EU region). All data is isolated per company — no other organisation can access your leads, clients, projects, or financial data. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate the platform:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Supabase — database hosting
• Vercel — application hosting
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI features within the platform

6. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format

7. Cookies

We use a single secure session cookie (pos_user) to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you cancel, your data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, to allow for account recovery. You may request immediate deletion at any time.
