TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Agreement to Terms

By registering for or using Rankitt (operated by RCB Design & Build | A2Z Principal Contractors), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Rankitt is a cloud-based construction business management platform providing tools for lead management, estimating, project tracking, invoicing, document generation, and AI-assisted business operations. The platform is intended for professional use by UK construction businesses.

3. Accounts and Registration

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials
• You may not share your account with other organisations
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Free Trial

Rankitt offers a 14-day free trial for the Starter plan. No payment method is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, you may choose to subscribe to a paid plan. Features may be limited or the account suspended if a plan is not selected after the trial expires.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

• Subscription fees are charged monthly or annually as selected
• All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges
• Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after 14 days
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise platform security
• Resell or sublicense access to the platform without written permission
• Use AI features to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content

7. Data and Intellectual Property

You own all business data you enter into Rankitt (leads, clients, projects, documents). You grant us a limited licence to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the service. The Rankitt platform, its code, design, and AI systems are our intellectual property.

8. AI-Generated Content

The AI features in Rankitt (estimates, scopes, messages, lead scoring) produce outputs based on patterns and rules. These outputs are provided as a starting point only and are not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before sending it to clients or using it for business decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Rankitt and RCB Design & Build shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 3 months.

10. Availability and Modifications

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. We do not guarantee that the platform will meet every specific business requirement.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time from Settings → Billing. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
